Camille Bohamed (“Cam”) was born in Montreal Canada on March 7, 1927
to Hanna Hadlah and Assad Bohamed Abou-Hammad.
He was the youngest of eight surviving children and the last to pass away of his siblings.
He is survived by his wife Josie, three children and six grandchildren.

Cam moved to Southern California in his early twenties and started working in the grocery business.
He attended a local church function in the mid 1950s where he met Josephine (“Josie”).
They dated and were married on May 19, 1957.

Cam and Josie were a true love story through their 60 years of marriage.
Together, they loved raising their family and traveling. They especially enjoyed their trips
to Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe and would reminisce fondly of their trips.

Cam retired from the grocery business at the age of 55 and began the next phase of his career doing custom carpentry.
He enjoyed working with wood and helping people transform their kitchens into beautiful works of art
as well as building custom furniture. He took great pride in building the baby furniture for all six of his grandchildren.

After 20+ years doing custom woodwork, and teaching several dear friends the trade,
he once again retired so that he could enjoy spending time with his family.

He truly leaves his mark on this world with his welcoming generosity, his kindness to those he encountered,
the pride and love he always maintained for his family, his sense of humor,
endless stories and great conversations.

He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege and honor to know him.
