Developed several Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) in California with total gross annual revenues in excess of $130 million.

Led the leadership transition, business turn-around, and divestiture of an urgent care center in Northern California.  Sale multiple exceeded industry standard.

Implemented several initiatives that resulted in recruiting and retaining top talent.  Solid history of top performance with turnover and vacancy rates that beat industry averages. 

Delivered annual succession plans.

Developed and implemented Corporate Compliance Programs.  Implemented Code of Conduct Hotline.  Assisted with the selection and implementation of software systems for on line reporting and follow up.  Authored Code of Conduct Handbooks. 

Lead consultants in negotiating over 100 health plan contracts for several primary care, specialty and ancillary provider groups.

Directed the annual review of all job classifications ensuring they are in the appropriate salary grade and that each salary grade was competitive within its range.  Recommended market adjustments as needed to maintain market competitiveness.  Developed and implemented self-funded employee health plans which included a hospital based physician group that directed the majority of healthcare services to be done that facility.

Led teams that improved employee and provider engagement.  Established priorities that improved patient satisfaction.

Participated in decisions to add outpatient services including urgent care centers, primary care, physician groups, fitness center and outpatient rehabilitation.  Participated in the planning and opening of a new patient tower which added 119 beds, two surgical suites, cafeteria, warehouse, loading dock and helipad.
